Well, A lot of people have different notion about power and being powerful, but for me what I believe and to put in a very simple words" power is giving” and I would also say"power is knowledge and your ability to help others”

Fire That Caught Nobody's Attention!

I live in an apartment which has a huge plain ground opposite with lot of trees and as I entre my home I always cherish the fresh air I feel and I always wake up in the morning to a fresh air and a greenery from my bedroom balcony which is so pleasant for the eyes.

This morning I woke up to an unpleasant surprise! As it is I was sleeping well over late and I wake up to see the fire catching up on the beautiful green area opposite my house.

With a grim face wondering what’s happening I started brushing my teeth and within few minutes the entire huge area was caught on fire with all the trees burning and flames entering our homes. The only divider for the ground and our apartment was the road in between and as the fire reached the fence for few minutes I thought it would enter our homes. If it was for few more minutes I wanted to call the fire engine but the fire stopped on the fence and receded well.

The scene was so horrible that my heart was bleeding and it reminded me of “Ranabhumi” the ground with full of fire and smoke and crows and eagles flying frantically across the ground.

As I called the security to ask what was the reason and he just casually said do not know sir and kept the phone. Hassled I stood in a balcony to see if anyone is coming forward to ask or to see why this is happening and expected at least some of the houses to see what’s happening outside their window but surprisingly everybody was confined to their own work inside the house and despite probably seeing what’s happening did not bother much and also the people driving to office through the same road did not bother to see or investigate much.

I left home with an anguish mood and despite being late to a meeting which I had confirmed at 1130 AM, I made it a point to stop at the apartment main office to ask whether the authorities were aware and doing anything about this.

I entered the room and saw an old man sitting in a cabin, looked like he is the head of the management and I politely informed him that there was a fire in the ground and asked him why it happened? I was in for a rude shock when I got a rather sarcastic answer that if there was a fire you should have called the fire engine rather wasting time here. The man pretended initially that he did not know the fire was caught but after I kept telling him that trees are dead and we should have done something about it, he said that he was aware and said that it was a grass fire which happens naturally for which he is not responsible and kept on telling me three to four times that it was very common in USA and Australia to catch such fire as it happened recently there. It seemed like he spent whole of his life in USA and Australia in a FIRE!

Realising that this old gentleman is least bothered I just got out of their office and wished how this old man should have been caught in the fire to realise the pain what I was going through… I know it’s not a good wish and too harsh for an old man and for me to think that way is not usual, but that I guess the old man deserved this kind a response from me.

The reason I am writing this is though we are all so much educated and aware of the conservation required for our future and the global warming most of us do not do a bit to save anything.

The message here is be the change you want to see, which is what I want to be.

My Father always says be above the society norms and always see the other side of the coin!

The problem arises when we start owning somebody, it could be out of love but it’s a beginning of loosing something we have. We need to understand that everyone has their own life and need to be at their own space sometimes!

When you have decided to leave an organisation and if still continuing for whatever reasons for the time being is like playing a game without a will to win

If you want to acheive something in life you have to come out of the mundane job and steer ahead. If you look at any successful leader they have taken a different and a difficult path...

To all my fellow Indians first and resident of Bangalore, I would like to say that in Bangalore be a Bangalorean and don't be a complain box instead be a solution box and help the city grow!

If someone asked me how do you judge a person? I used to say that by the size of their thinking, but I would like to add here that by also how they carry themselves and how they treat other people....

In a time of emotional crisis or a break down no body can help you as much as you can. Others can help you temporarily and it may give you temporary relief, but to really come out of it you have to be willing to help yourself

Learn to appreciate a good initiative or a job well done as that can trigger and motivate the person to do better and greater things....after all don't we all crave for that little appreciation everyday..

Never forget your roots and upbringing. If you forget ..........you forget who you are....

Never laugh or underestimate someone else's dream as it has the power to be true, rather encourage it and be part of that dream

A man without money, power or position and a partner in life is considered a misfit in the society

You are a different person everyday based on circumstances and situations

Today try to be a better person than you were yesterday

My father is a great intelligent man but he is never appreciated because he is a poor man without a penny

If you are happy you can make others happy and if others around you are happy you are bound to be happy

In life do not take extreme right or left instead go a middle path

In life at any given moment there is a short coming which you have to overcome by accepting it that it is these shortcomings which keeps you grounded

In business you have to make money with good and life moving practices

There is no point in complaining about what you can not change instead focus on what you can change for betterment

It's very important to make peace with yourself first

it's importnant to practice what you preach

envying somebody's knowledge is ok but not the wealh as knowledge is guru and one is permanent and one is not

You need to be crowd puller and not a crowd pusher

Mistake is a mistake only if it is repeated knowingly

we all have to learn and unlearn something everyday

As you grow up you need to understand your strenghts and weakness and make both of them work for you and not against

Think healthy eat healthy sleep healthy= live healthy

Entrepenuership is about inventing promoting and giving it back to the sociiety and not just about making money

In life do not look back always look forward

You can escape the law of the land but can never escape the law of the lord

In life you need to have accountability for all your actions and for the very own purpose of living because when you go back you need to be answarable for all your actions and the very own purpose of living

In life never speak bad about others, if you are being forced to say something, say I don't know
